Gaspar tries to scam Mr. Whiskers.

On one average day, Mr. Whiskers is playing cards with himself. Mr. Whiskers tells himself on the left that he sees his pile of old bananas and raises him a stinky shoe. Mr. Whiskers, quickly moving to the left, says that he's bluffing, with him on the right saying it'll cost him a Taj Mahal made out of toothpicks to find out. Mr. Whiskers on left sweats, holding a Taj Mahal made out of toothpicks and asks Mr. Whiskers on the right, to show Mr. Whiskers on the left his cards. Before he can, Mr. Whiskers hears a knock, now upset, because now he will never know if Mr. Whiskers on the right was bluffing. He opens the door, only to see Gaspar with a briefcase. Gaspar asks Mr. Whiskers if he is speaking to the decision-maker of the house and says that he is there to make a routine visit to ensure all of his friends are prepared for the coming of the meteor season. Mr. Whiskers questions this, and Gaspar tells him that without the proper protection, the house and everything he owns could get destroyed. Mr. Whiskers starts running around in a panic, wondering what to do. Gaspar opens the briefcase and shows him what's inside, the Meteor Forcefield 5000. He tells him it will bounce away any meteor that comes within 100 feet of his home, and that it happens to make delicious toast. Mr. Whiskers says it will solve all of his meteor problems and Gaspar tells him it can be his with only four payments of 49 shiny rocks, with Mr. Whiskers telling him that he can't afford it. Gaspar says that if he also had something he could trade him for, Mr. Whiskers could still keep the Meteor Forcefield 5000.

Mr. Whiskers goes to a box he has called 'Whiskers' Favrut Things' and shows Gaspar all of the great stuff he has. Inside the box is a deck of 31 playing cards, old mango peels, and a collection of used bandages that look like other stuff. Gaspar says that he sees nothing that interests him, until he looks over and sees a Sugartoad poster on the wall. Mr. Whiskers says that it's his most valuable possession and that he had to send in 237 proofs of purchase for a cereal called Cardboard Crunch. Gaspar tries to persuade Mr. Whiskers by asking him if he can really put a price on not being smushed. In response, Mr. Whiskers says he will do the trade. Gaspar tells him that he's a very smart rabbit and asks if he would also be interested in some of his ghost repellent. Mr. Whiskers throws it and says that he will take the optional forcefield rustproofing, in case it rains.

A while later, Brandy comes back from the mall, upset that the clerks didn't know the difference between a Magnolia rouge and a peony blush. Mr. Whiskers goes to show her his toaster, with her questioning it. Mr. Whiskers tells Brandy that it's not just a toaster, it's the Meteor Forcefield 5000 and that he traded Gaspar his Sugartoad poster for it. She questions if it's the one he ate all of the cereal for because he was coughing up cardboard squares for weeks. He tells her that she can't put a price on not being smushed, with her responding that he got tricked. Mr. Whiskers tells her that someone would have gotten to get up pretty early in the morning to fool him, right before it cuts to Gaspar in bed at 3:30 in the afternoon. Brandy tells Mr. Whiskers that the forcefield wouldn't stop a pebble. He says that it would because it has a blinking red light, with Brandy proceeding to throw pebbles at the device. At first, Mr. Whiskers is confident in it, saying that no meteor defense system is 100 percent effective, with him getting pebbles in the face. Brandy tells him to wake him because he got scammed. Gaspar took his favorite thing only for him to get a piece of junk in exchange. He cries as he admits to it and asks what he's gonna do about it. He says that maybe he's just operating it wrong; he tries to look deeper into it, with him just getting toast in the eyes. Angry, he walks over to Gaspar's to demand a refund.

Gaspar asks if Mr. Whiskers is there for the ghost repellent he had previously declined in taking, with Mr. Whiskers saying that he's here to demand a refund, as he smashes the toaster on the ground. Gaspar tells them there are no refunds, causing Mr. Whiskers to cry and plead. Gaspar says that his pleads are like sweet music, with him imitating an orchestra conductor saying that he's mastered his "instrument". He says that he could watch Mr. Whiskers cry, but his stories are currently off, so he just shuts the door in Mr. Whiskers' face.

Back at the treehouse, Mr. Whiskers sadly stares at the spot his poster used to be at. He goes over to Brandy, just reading a magazine, and asks for help. She tells him he's got a lot on her plate right now and that she can't. Mr. Whiskers cries and pleads to her for help. Brandy tells Mr. Whiskers that Gaspar is a con man, and that the only way to beat a con man is to think like one. Mr. Whiskers to think of how to get his poster back, with him coming up with nothing and just falling on the floor, with Brandy saying she will just give him an idea.

Scam gone wrong!

Mr. Whiskers tells Ed to put on his disguise as he sees Gaspar coming. Ed puts on a fake beard and says he's disappeared into his character. Starting their charade, Mr. Whiskers tells Ed to pick a cup. He as his fake persona, Carl Le Fong, says he will pick the middle one. Mr. Whiskers congratulates and says that he's "won again". He's shocked by this and says if a naive out-of-towner can win this game, anyone can. Gaspar comes and asks to play, as he puts a couple shiny rocks on their table. Mr. Whiskers says this table has been changed to a high stakes table and that they only take posters of popular jungle bands as currency, and Gaspar goes to grab his Sugartoad poster. Mr. Whiskers flicks a nut out of one of the cups, and Ed starts to laugh. They see Gaspar come back and Mr. Whiskers tells him to pick a cup. Gaspar picks the cup on his right, only for Mr. Whiskers to see there's still a nut in it! He cries and says that he messed up his brilliant scam, with Gaspar questioning that this was a scam and that he wasn't involved. He snaps for his goons and the two run away because Carl Le Fong has to "catch a motor car to Pompano Beach".

They go back to the treehouse and Brandy, in the bath with cucumber slices on her eyes, writes them down another idea on paper. With Ed eating one of her now fallen cucumber slices. The two go near Gaspar's lair, with Ed showing off his just built rocking horse. Mr. Whiskers goes inside the trapdoor on the back and will use it to get the poster back, by jumping out of it and grabbing the poster, saying it can't fail. Ed moves the rocking horse to Gaspar's front door, knocks, and runs away. Gaspar and his goons answer, with Goon 1# being interested in the horse. Gaspar is suspicious at first, with Goon 2# telling him he can't look a gift horse in the mouth. Mr. Whiskers says that it's true, but covers up his accidental outburst with a neigh. Gaspar goes back inside and tells them happy birthday. The Goons celebrate this and fight over who gets to ride first. Goon 1# says he's got dibs on the first ride, with Goon 2# saying he called it first. He starts rocking on it, causing Mr. Whiskers to bounce around inside the rocking horse. Goon 1# and Goon 2# take turns on the rocking horse, as Mr. Whiskers tries to open the trapdoor. The two both start to ride on it, with Mr. Whiskers kicking and banging on the door, trying to get out. He eventually flies out of the door, with Goon 1# questioning what the horse ate.

The two go back to Brandy and ask for another idea; she tells them that normally she'd give up on giving them ideas but since she's really enjoyed having the house to herself today, she gives them one, just find something that's as important to Gaspar as that poster is to Mr. Whiskers. Gaspar receives a call, with one of his goons handing him the phone. Mr. Whiskers on the other side of the line, tells Gaspar that if he ever wants to see "his pet jaguar" ever again, to bring a Sugartoad poster to the tree by the Watering Hole. Gaspar tells them that he doesn't have a pet jaguar, with the two of them almost getting eaten by it. The jaguar takes them to Brandy, where she is seen reading a book. Mr. Whiskers says that he's never gonna get his poster back and that it's hopeless. Brandy tells herself that if she wants to get something done, she's got to do it herself, with Mr. Whiskers confusing it was a response for him.

Brandy goes to Gaspar's and tells him about the 'Outstanding Lizard of the Year' banquet, with him telling her he's never heard of it before. Brandy tells him it's because the jungle has never had such an outstanding lizard to honor before. Now on board, Gaspar asks, where can he find a date defeating of such an outstanding lizard as himself. Brandy tells him she thought he'd never ask, with Gaspar saying he didn't. Brandy asks about it again, and they settle on meeting there at 7:30.

That night, Brandy, Mr. Whiskers, and Ed are outside looking at a map of Gaspar's lair, because Brandy thinks that's where he's keeping his poster. The three hear Gaspar and look at him from afar in shock. Gaspar says that he is honored and would like to thank himself, as he walks off. Brandy, hiding behind a bush, pulls a cat with a banana tied to it out of her backpack and lets it run past the goons guarding the door. They notice the cat and run after it. Brandy looks around to make sure no one is around, and the three go in.

Hurry!

Brandy tells them to wait, and throws a pebble on the ground which activates traps. Ed uses his "slippery otter magic" to pass all of the traps and deactivate them, with Ed saying people laughed when he chose ballet over baseball. The trio go to Gaspar's safe and Mr. Whiskers tries to unlock it. They hear Gaspar after finding out the banquet was fake, and that he is now outraged, along with his goons who say the banana tied to the cat was mediocre at best. Brandy tells Mr. Whiskers to hurry, and he unlocks the safe. They look at the poster in amazement and quickly leave with it.

Back at the treehouse, Mr. Whiskers says he feels like a pellet brain and that he never knew he'd be so bad at confidence games. Brandy tells him that the important thing is that he has learned to be a little less naive about buying worthless pieces of junk that could never really protect him from any real danger. Before she could finish her sentence, however, they hear a noise. Mr. Whiskers wonders what it is, and later finds out it was a meteor that destroyed part of the treehouse, including the Sugartoad poster. In response to this, Brandy asks what else she can do for Mr. Whiskers. The next day, she is seen eating Cardboard Crunch, saying that it tastes awful. Mr. Whiskers tells her that there are only 236 boxes left to eat, as he throws cereal in Brandy's face, with her looking annoyed.
